YOUNG PROFESSIONALS ACADEMY STUDENTS TAKE ON THE DRAGONS

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Entrepreneurial sixth formers from Central Saint Michael’s Young Professionals Academy faced a Dragons’ Den-style panel of four when they pitched their ideas for innovation and commercial success.

Business & Law Diploma students Bartosz Rodziewicz and Wojciech Szpargala successfully gained the Dragons’ backing for their SB Burger Van business plan.

The panel of Dragons comprised Deputy Principal Dr David Craik, Business & Law Diploma lecturer Brendalyn Heaven, a college marketing team member and a second-year business student.

Units covered by the students as part of their challenge included Starting a Small Business, Present the Initial Business Idea and Explain How to Identify the Target Market and the Methods Used to Target for the Proposed Business.

Lecturer Brendalyn Heaven said: “The quality of the students’ work was extremely impressive.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
