Congratulations to Central Saint Michael’s student Lauren Davis for getting to the final five in the Millennium Point Scholarship! Each year Birmingham City University’s Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment offers one young person a fully-funded scholarship.

Lauren, studying Computer Science, Maths and Physics A Levels, was selected from over 100 applicants across the region to participate at the live final at Millennium Point. She was one of five young people to give quick-fire presentations on current issues facing the West Midlands for the chance to win a fully-funded STEM undergraduate degree, paid for by the Millennium Point Charitable Trust.

Lauren will now receive ongoing support towards her Computer Forensics career including coaching, mentoring and industry work experience provided through Millennium Point. She will also get aftercare support in the form of skills development, 1-on-1 coaching and links to industry. This is the second time a Central Saint Michael’s student has made it to the final. Suzan Musa was also shortlisted for the Young Innovator Prize. Watch Lauren’s full presentation below.
