Central Saint Michael’s Politics student Ellan Ashley-Dixon was selected to help with West Midlands Mayor Andy Street’s re-election campaign, the Andy4WM Campaign Associates Work Experience Programme, during February half term week. Ellan was based at The Big Peg in Birmingham, working on campaign video creation and data analysis for the former John Lewis MD.

Earlier this year Central Saint Michael’s students also got to meet the Mayor at a progression fair.

Work experience opportunities with industry leaders help our students stay focused on their favoured career path. This year Pathways to the Professions programmes, run by the University of Warwick, mean students like Myles have attended a series of Banking & Finance workshops, including a PwC Coaching Day and Deutsche Bank Work Experience prep, and Jasmine was invited to complete Pathways to Law, with a work placement, mentoring and networking opportunities all included.
