Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form is deeply saddened by the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The Sixth Form community extends its sincerest condolences to the Royal Family and all those mourning her passing.
Queen Elizabeth II was a dedicated public servant and has been a constant figurehead throughout most of our lives.
Her unwavering sense of duty and her commitment to service as our longest reigning monarch cannot be overstated.
The Sixth Form remains open throughout the forthcoming official period of mourning. As further, official announcements are made any changes to this will be communicated to students, parents and carers along with staff well in advance.
The Government has announced that Monday 19 September 2022 will be a national bank holiday in all parts of the UK for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s State Funeral. This will also mark the last day of the period of national mourning following the Queen’s passing on 8 September 2022.
We will be closed for the Bank Holiday on Monday 19th September and return on Tuesday 20th September.
