Strengthening Futures For National Careers Week

We welcomed representatives from 15 leading employers to deliver personal interview sessions for our Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form students — an invaluable opportunity for them to build confidence, develop employability skills, and gain real‑world insight into recruitment expectations.
Students had the chance to interview with professionals from organisations including HS2, National Highways, Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Trust, Sandwell Council, OpenReach, and the Army, among many others.
Each employer offered personalised feedback, helping learners strengthen their communication, presentation, and interview techniques.
This experience forms a key part of our commitment to preparing students for their next steps — whether that’s higher education, apprenticeships, or entering the world of work.
We’re incredibly grateful to all the employers who gave their time and expertise to support our learners’ development.
Our students rose to the challenge brilliantly, and we’re proud of the professionalism they demonstrated throughout the day.
