It was a fantastic full-circle moment for Praise Jumbo as she returned to Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form, but now as an HSBC apprentice, to inspire the next generation during National Apprenticeship Week 2025.
Praise delivered an interview workshop, sharing her experience and knowledge with future apprentices, and her tips were invaluable for current students looking to secure their next opportunity.
Praise later said: “Walking these halls in 2021/2022, I often wondered about my future and who I would become. Never in a million years did I imagine that I would embark on the journey of an apprenticeship.
“Today was truly special—an experience I’ll cherish at my former sixth form. The session was a mix of nostalgia and excitement, as memories of my time there came rushing back. Seeing my old lecturers again made the experience even more meaningful, and I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to give back.
“Best of luck to all aspiring apprentices out there—your journey is just beginning.”
