It all started back in 2017 for design engineer Amninder Singh when he made a sterling success of his A Levels, securing A Star grades in Maths, Chemistry and Physics at Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form.
A First Class Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Birmingham swiftly followed, with a year’s industrial placement working as a process engineer at Jaguar Land Rover.
Impressing during his placement year, Amninder was taken on by JLR as a Manufacturing Engineering Graduate Engineer, working on facilities required for new vehicle platform prototype builds and engaging with internal customers and external suppliers.
Amninder is now a Tooling Design Engineer at JLR, working at their Gaydon HQ and responsible for door and tailgate carriers for Jaguar’s unique electric architecture programmes.
