High flying students from Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form got an inspiring glimpse of the city of dreaming spires when they spent a day at the University of Oxford.
Students and staff visited Keble College, one of the largest and most renowned colleges of the University. Founded in 1870, Keble has a rich academic heritage and provided the perfect setting for an engaging and insightful experience.
The purpose of the visit was to raise aspirations and equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to maximise their potential in applying to one of the world’s most prestigious universities.
Students had the opportunity to explore the stunning college grounds, learn more about life at Oxford, and participate in tailored sessions designed to boost their confidence and understanding of the application process.
Head of Lower Sixth, Sam Clare, said: “Visits like this reflect Central Saint Michael’s commitment to nurturing ambition and supporting our students in reaching their highest academic goals.”
Student Imani added: “It was more down to earth than I had expected. I liked seeing the differences in the colleges, I was surprised that they were so spread across the city.”
