The Government has just issued an announcement that examinations should not take place if it is judged inappropriate for them to do so. In light of the increasing number of COVID cases locally and nationally we believe that your health and wellbeing are too important for examinations to proceed at present.
We are disappointed and concerned that the Government has waited so late to make this decision. Nonetheless, we need to put your welfare first, therefore, your examinations this January are now cancelled. We will, of course, continue to support you in your studies and your teacher will be in touch with you over the coming days to discuss matters with you.
