Female student presented with certificate by female MP

We love celebrating the incredible students at Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form, and this month our outstanding students are Christabel and Tia.

Nominated by Head of Upper Sixth Navjot Kaur, Christabel has shown remarkable dedication to her A Level studies, balancing academic excellence with resilience and commitment, even when faced with personal challenges. She is always on time, always working hard, and always striving for success.

Not only is she a high achiever, but she also embodies Central Saint Michael’s values, making a real impact as a Junior Ambassador, supporting Open Days and school visits to inspire future students.

Hard work, resilience, and a passion for learning, Tia embodies everything we stand for at Central Saint Michael’s, part of The Sandwell Colleges. Tia has demonstrated outstanding dedication, superb attendance and punctuality, and a positive attitude that never falters, even in the face of challenges.

Tia is a true ambassador for the College, setting a high standard for those around her. Her commitment to learning and unwavering determination make her a joy to teach and an inspiration to her peers.

Christabel and Tia were presented with their awards by Antonia Bance, MP for Tipton and Wednesbury, who joined us to celebrate learners’ achievements across a range of courses.

The MP also took the time to join Lisa Capper MBE, CEO & Principal of The Sandwell Colleges, for an engaging Q&A session, where they discussed leadership, education, and the ambitions of our young people.
