Central Saint Michael’s Sixth Form student Tolu is celebrating after moving closer to his ambition of becoming a biomedical scientist.
Gaining a vital grade 5 in his GCSE English exam means the world to Tolu, who is already studying Applied Science with us and has his sights set firmly on university and his future career plans.
He shared how much support he received from his tutor at Sandwell College (part of The Sandwell Colleges) throughout the process and how relieved he feels now that a huge weight has been lifted.
“My English teacher was so encouraging and always making sure we did our best. She gave us work to do at home and she would even come in on extra days to explain things to us.”
