History is a course for those who wish to study the effects of political, economic, social and military consequences of the past and how they have impacted people around the world. You may have studied History at GCSE but this is not a requirement. This A Level course looks at evaluating and analysing narratives, evidence and different perspectives of events and coming to a judgement about what evidence is more compelling. So you may find it beneficial to study History if you are also considering English Language and Literature, or Politics and Law.
